I majored in Biology at Swarthmore College near Philadelphia, PA. After undergrad, I joined statistical consultancy Analysis & Inference, Inc. There, I managed research projects for law firms, corporations and government agencies, beginning an interest in the law. I went on to Georgetown University Law Center, where I earned a concurrent JD+MA in Law & Conflict Resolution. I am a registered patent attorney, and a member of both the New York State and District of Columbia Bar Associations.
After law school, I joined Rothwell Figg Ernst & Manbeck PC, in Washington, DC as a Patent Attorney. There I apprenticed on the full range of Intellectual Property matters, focusing on Life Sciences, e-Commerce and Financial technology sectors. Three years later, I moved to New York where I opened my own practice serving growth companies and other local innovators.
